Function: Rides in the cam track on the picker bar arm and steers the spindle bar through the picking and doffing zones. Worn bushings introduce play, and play in a picker head means misalignment that wears spindles, doffers and grid bars faster than any of them should. Cheap to replace on schedule, expensive to ignore.
